I recently came across an interesting quote by Anglican rector William Derham in his 1713 book entitled Physico-Theology:
“Let us examine (the minute details of nature) with all our gauges, measure them with our nicest rules, pry into them with our microscopes and most exquisite instruments…”
Derham believed that hidden in the minuscule details of nature were insights into the Creator. I believe that also. For those who have a calling from God to invade science and healthcare with the good news of the Kingdom of God, let us stay open to divine insights and discoveries that He will give us that can change the world for Jesus and reveal His heart of compassion and His nature of goodness!
